About Hikki Media

Hikki Media is a website dedicated to Anime, Music, Technology, and Video Games. If even one of these areas is interesting to you, then you've come to the right place! Hikki Media staff consistently produces articles related to our interests and hope you enjoy (or preferably flame) them. In addition to the quality (LOL) material produced by our staff, there is also a forum for readers to share their opinion. For the stalkers, Hikki Media is administrated by kevin-san and finalcut.

Media makes sense, but why "Hikki?"

Hikki's are cool kids. Not really. Hikki is short for the Japanese word "hikikomori." Someone who is a hikikomori is "socially withdrawn" and kind of just stays inside all day. Not that anyone on this site would stay inside all day, right? We're all uber popular and get invited to all the parties. Internet parties.

About the staff

Each member of our staff has their own about me page you can find here. Some of our team knows each other in real life (implies we've stepped outside, HAH), and some don't. Sometimes we go to places like B-Dubs and eat wings and stuff. Sometimes we just sit on IRC and talk. Sometimes we're just lonely. Sometimes we're just awesome. All the time, we're hikki.
