Jim Ward Sucks

Jim Ward used to be cool. Back in the day, he would sing, dance, and play guitar for At The Drive-In, not giving a fuck about anything. Then the band broke up. Its two main creative forces, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala went on to form The Mars Volta, while Jim founded Sparta, and then Sleepercar in 2008. Everything was cool until The Mars Volta stopped making enough money to buy Omar new pedals, forcing his b.f.f. Cedric to step up earlier in the week and open the possibility of an At The Drive-In reunion.

It seemed as though this actually had a chance of happening. And if they were cool with it, surely Jim would be too, right? Wrong. When asked about the possibly of a reunion, Jim told Buzzgrinder:

"I don’t think that I’ll be answering any questions or doing any interviews anymore, thank you very much. I haven’t got much to say about anything except with songs which I will continue to make and release — cheers…"

Remember when Jim was cool?
