The type of car a normal person drives says a lot about their lifestyle and demeanor; the equivalent to this personality litmus test for us hikikomoris, is our internet browsers. Since you don't go outside, I'll assume you already know about the big 5 browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari. In early June 2009, several Opera fanboys noticed this page. Apparently, Opera is about to free us from the Guantanamo bay of the internet and grant us freedom. Who knows what might happen, but speculation includes improved page rendering, tons of Qeb 3.0 capabilities, and general neckbeard douche baggery. Opera Software claims they will use their 15-year history to “introduce a technology that will forever change the fundamental fabric of the web.” A bold statement from a company that produces a mediocre at best browser. In any case, we'll keep you updated. In the mean time, I'll continue to browse the net using the latest technology on the market: wget. |
